Noted speaker and bestselling author Rick Kirschner will be a featured presenter at the 17th Annual International Conference sponsored by The HUMOR Project, Inc. Dr. Kirschner is a very popular speaker on change, communication, innovation, and happiness and is the author of best-selling books Life By Design and Dealing With People You Can't Stand. Dr. Kirschner will also be presenting two sessions at the conference on 'How to Bring Out the Best in People, Even at Their Worst.' These sessions will provide proven techniques (Mental Martial Arts, Attitude Adjustments, Pygmalion Power) to tackle the 10 most-unwanted difficult behaviors you will ever encounter on or off the job.
The 17th Annual International Conference on The Positive Power of Humor, Hope & Healing, held in Saratoga Springs, New York from April 12-14, is the largest conference of its kind in the world. Over the years, this program has attracted more than 15,000 people from all 50 states and 6 continents. This learning-filled, laughter-fueled conference is designed to be fun, but not for fun as it takes a light look at the serious implications and applications of humor and creativity in business, health care, education, government, non-profit organizations, the family, and other settings.
Dr. Kirschner will share the bill with television legend Soupy Sales, Meadowlark Lemon (Clown Prince of the Harlem Globetrotters), and Dr. Joel Goodman (founder of The HUMOR Project who has done presentations for more than two million people worldwide). Previous speakers and National Humor Treasure Award recipients at the conference include: Steve Allen, Victor Borge, Sid Caesar, Jay Leno, Mark Russell, Gilda Radner, David Hyde Pierce, Art Buchwald, Al Roker, Bob Newhart, the Smothers Brothers, etc. This year's conference will celebrate the 25th anniversary of The HUMOR Project, the first organization in the world to focus fool-time on the positive power of humor.
